St John’s Parish Outside School Hours Care (OSHC) Program
BEFORE SCHOOL CARE:
7am – 8.30am school days
AFTER SCHOOL CARE:
3.15pm – 6pm school days
VACATION CARE:
8am – 5pm Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursdays in school holidays
Sue McKellar will operate Before School Care, Afternoon School Care and Vacation Care Programs with Ashleigh Mayberry assisting. Donna Murfett and Gayle Watters provide Administration Support from our School Office. The children will be offered a range of enjoyable activities to participate in. Afternoon tea will be provided for your child. Our service offers a diverse range of healthy snacks and drinks. Children are invited to assist in menu planning and preparation of snacks.
Enrolment of Children
You will be required to complete an enrolment form for each child attending the service. Please include all relevant information so that we are able to offer the best care for your child/children. You can now register online, via the tab on the left of this screen.
Hours of Operation
The OSHC Program operates on each normal school day from7:00am to 8:30am and 3:15pm to 6:00pm. On the last day of each term the hours of operation will be extended to coincide with the earlier dismissal of students. It is not open on Pupil Free Days. Vacation Care is operates 8am – 4pm Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursdays in school holidays.
Bookings can be made via the My Family Lounge App on your phone up until 10.00am on the day of your booking for After School Care & before 6.30am for Before School Care after this time Donna or Gayle in our School Office will take bookings. As places are limited to 30 places, we cannot guarantee you a spot if you are booking late. You can contact Sue on the OSHC Mobile : 0418 600 185 from 7.00am-8.30am or 3.15-6.00pm if you need to pass on a message or make a late morning booking. Otherwise all queries should be directed to the office on (03) 5862 1804. If you wish to cancel a booking for After School Care please do so before 10.00am on the day so that we may give your place to someone else. We reserve the right to charge for a late cancellation if we have had to employ extra staff or we could have filled your spot.
Please be aware that any family collecting a child after 6:00pm may be charged a late fee equal to the session rate doubled.
Fees
The following Table is a Flat Rate ie regardless of time spent
AFTER SCHOOL CARE: $20 per session per child
BEFORE SCHOOL CARE: $15 per session per child
VACATION CARE: $60 per session per child
There are most significant government rebates for our users. You must register a Centrelink mygov account & confirm your current details through this before you are eligible for any Subsidies. For more information on this process visit education.gov.au/childcare or contact Centrelink. Once you have provided your current income & activity hours to them, you will need to confirm your enrolment details with our service through mygov.
